This page explains what information Symbionic collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect only what we need to talk to you, fit you and look after your Krea.

Who we are

What we collect

When you contact us or book a demo

Your name, phone number, email and anything you choose to tell us. This comes from our forms, email, phone calls and WhatsApp messages.

When we assess and fit you

Details of your limb and your health that we need to make your prosthesis: measurements, 3D scans, photos of the fit and fitting notes. This is sensitive information. We collect it only to make, fit and follow up on your prosthesis, and we keep access to it within our team.

When you apply for a job

Your CV, your letter and anything else you send us.

When you sponsor or donate

Payments through our sponsorship form are handled by Cashfree. We do not see your card or bank login details. If you ask for an 80G receipt, we ask for the details needed for the receipt through a secure form, not by email.

When you share your story

We publish a story, photo, film or quote only with your consent. On the website we use your first name and town, not your full name or employer. You can ask us to take your story down at any time.

How we use it

• To reply to you and arrange your demo.
• To assess, make, fit and follow up on your prosthesis.
• To consider your job application.
• To issue receipts and keep the accounts the law requires.
• To report to a partner who funds your fitting, only as described below.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who run parts of our work for us: Tally (forms), Google Workspace (email), Cashfree (payments) and Cloudflare (website hosting).
• Funding partners. If a CSR partner or a donor funds your fitting, we share your progress with them only with your consent.
• Eureka Education Foundation (Chudar), our NGO partner, when needed to issue an 80G receipt for a donation.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies. Our fonts are served from our own site. Our host, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie.

Films on our story, about, partner and nail cutter pages come from YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play, and then YouTube's own privacy policy applies. Links to WhatsApp, Tally, Cashfree, LinkedIn and news sites take you to those services, and their policies apply there.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purpose above, for example while we look after your Krea, and for as long as the law requires us to keep records. After that we delete it.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you and how we use it.
• Correct or complete it.
• Delete it, when we no longer need it by law.
• Stop using it, by withdrawing your consent.
• Name someone to act for you if you cannot.
